AI is Accelerating Product Development

Microsoft 365 Copilot Premium Rollout
Presenter: Rachel Kaplan, VP, Enterprise Solutions
Following a successful pilot, eMoney is expanding Microsoft 365 Copilot through an Early Adopters Program with the use of Copilot Premium licenses. Copilot Premium securely connects to the Microsoft 365 tools and content you already use every day, including your emails, meetings, Teams chats, SharePoint, OneDrive, and calendar.
Pilot learnings:
- Employees reported productivity gains and time savings.
- Many participants improved the quality of their work.
- Copilot proved especially valuable as a research, brainstorming, and decision-support tool.
- Strong adoption requires learning, experimentation, and peer support.
Early Adopters Program
- The Early Adopters Program is currently in progress with participants from more than 20 teams.
- Microsoft-led training sessions are helping employees learn practical use cases.
- Copilot Champions are being developed across the organization to support future adoption.
- Additional rollout details will be shared once the current program is complete
Q&A Summary
- Q: Has AI helped identify security risks or improve code security?
- Yes. Product and Technology teams are using AI to identify potential security vulnerabilities earlier in the development process. AI tools are helping review code, identify risks, and support secure coding practices before code reaches production environments.
- Q: How is eMoney incorporating AI directly into client-facing experiences?
- Teams are actively exploring customer-facing AI capabilities. One current initiative is an AI-powered assistant designed to help users access and navigate application help content more effectively. Additional opportunities are being evaluated for future product enhancements.
- Current examples of AI coming to the platform for our users in the short term:
- CoPlanner Chat
- AI-generated report summaries
- Document processing
- Tax Analyzer
- Q: Can employees still join the Microsoft 365 Copilot pilot?
- The current Early Adopters program is already underway. Participants were selected through leader nominations to ensure representation across teams and business units.
- Q: When will Microsoft 365 Copilot Premium be available more broadly?
- A final rollout timeline has not yet been announced. Leadership is evaluating results from the Early Adopters program and plans to take a phased approach, prioritizing employees whose work is heavily based in Microsoft applications. Additional adoption opportunities and an intake process for individual requests are expected as the rollout expands.
- Q: Will everyone receive a Microsoft 365 Copilot Premium license?
- No. We plan to take a targeted approach based on employee roles, workflows, and demonstrated business value. Different teams may leverage different AI tools depending on how they work.
