Advisor Experience

Smart Presentation Template

A new eMoney Intelligence capability that auto-generates a personalized presentation template tailored to the client’s selected plan — e.g., an education goal in the plan automatically pulls in the Education Goal Analysis report; a Roth conversion technique pulls in the Tax Bracket report. Can be triggered automatically alongside CoPlanner’s Generate action or manually via a new “Generate Smart Template” option in Decision Center’s Presentation View, and regenerates dynamically whenever the plan or CoPlanner approach changes. NEW Needs Analysis – Tax Basis Enhancement

A new Tax Basis Taxable Accounts & Cash field has been added to new NA for the Retirement, LIGA, and LTC modules, letting sim properly calculate and incorporate capital gains taxes in projections instead of assuming zero investment growth (which today leads to understated taxes). For existing analyses, the current Taxable Accounts & Cash value pre-fills into the new field; for new analyses, the value is auto-derived from the selected accounts, with a new Tax Basis column in the account picker. Planner Access to New Client Portal Settings Area

Users with the Planner role can now access the Client Portal configuration pages for the Advisors that delegate clients to them, closing a gap where Planners previously couldn’t manage delegated client portals. Note: Assistants still can’t update the theme for a delegated client via Manage Client Portal — giving the Assistant the Planner role is the interim workaround. Read more…

Privacy Settings Page Redesign

The Privacy Settings page in the Client Portal has been redesigned to make it much clearer who has access to what client data. Separate sections now cover detailed financial data (client, spouse, additional logons, owning advisor) versus summary data for external users like Alliance Partners, with independent controls for Client Portal and Spending data access. Client Portal Emails via SendGrid – Invitation & Confirmation

The Twilio SendGrid-based Client Portal Invitation and Confirmation emails now officially release in July (previously scheduled TBD in May). These template-driven emails give the two most-touched Client Portal messages a modern, on-brand look and make future updates a config change rather than a code change — with custom-disclaimer support for firms like PNC.
