The release of CoPlanner represents a major pivot point in financial planning tech: from sophisticated calculator into truly intelligent tech partner – shifting the burden of figuring out what to do off a user’s shoulders and onto tech’s, collapsing elongated workflows into a sub-10 second load time, and enabling scale without sacrificing quality. Beta research showed CoPlanner (1) is creating plans closely aligned to human planner quality (with only minor refinements needed by the user), (2) results in time savings between 27-48%, and (3) rose to among Decision Center’s most popular features.
Congratulations to eMoney and to the many talented people who brought this feature to life and who will continue to support and expand what’s possible with CoPlanner over time! Read more…

This release represents a complete reimagining of our 7 year old Foundational Planning experience. Rebuilt from the ground up, our new FP offers a simple and intuitive data entry experience, where system-intelligence (a) curates a personalized workflow based on the data it sees about the client and (b), via CoPlanner, produces a personalized plan for the user’s review. The experience was intentionally designed to be consistent in look and feel to Decision Center, only a much smaller subset of content and functionality. This means a reduced learning curve as users move between FP and AP, as it will feel to users as if they’re unlocking additional content and functionality rather than needing to learn a different experience. It also means our client firms can now create an environment where there is consistency of plan creation and delivery across their user bases, thanks to the controlled and linear nature of the FP workflow. The legacy version of FP will remain available to users until EOY 2026.
Congratulations again to all who contributed to this significant release! Read more…
