As we enter 2025, we are excited to announce an enhancement to our security awareness program! Cybersecurity will continue to be a critical focus for eMoney as we strive to protect our computing systems, employees, and clients from cyberattacks. All employees play a key role in maintaining a strong defense against cyber threats and, to further encourage diligent security practices, we are launching an incentive program for the new year. Each month, benefits-eligible employees will have opportunities to earn points for being a good security citizen.
Below are some ways you can earn points:
| ACTION | POINTS |
| Complete monthly training by EOM | 10 |
| Pass simulated phishing attacks | 10 |
| Properly reported simulated phishing attacks | 20 |
| Complete monthly training within 5 days | 20 |
| Complete optional quarterly assessment | 25 |
| Become a top 25 training performer | 25 |
| Report a new security or privacy concern | 25+ points determined at Security team’s discretion based on severity |
The points will be tallied at the end of the month and the employee earning the most will receive 50 eMpower points!
1. Do points carry over each month?
No, the winner will be awarded based on points earned during the current month.
2. What happens if there is a tie?
In the event of a tie, a winner will be chosen by raffle.
3. Are contractors eligible?
Contractors have different security training requirements. We will look for ways to include them in the future.
4. If I complete my training within the first 5 days, do I get points for that in addition to meeting the end-of-month requirement?
Yes, completing your training early gives you an opportunity to get it out of the way and earn bonus points!
5. How do I become a Top 25 performer?
The Top 25 performers designation is based on the monthly training quiz scores, so be sure to take your time to get the right answers!
6. The Security teams have an unfair advantage – are they eligible to win?
No, members of the Information Security teams are excluded from this challenge.
How do you submit a new security or privacy concern? Is there an email address?
You can report them to security@emoneyadvisor.com.
