Meet Jeff Zenko

Employee Spotlight April 15, 2024 Grayce Turnbach

As a Senior Client Success Coach, Jeff helps advisors integrate eMoney into their practice and use it to achieve real, measurable goals. “I’m here to help clients not just use the platform, but unlock its full value for their business and their clients.”

Quick Facts:

  • Favorite quote: “You can’t please all of the people all of the time.” – John Lydgate
  • Favorite meal: Larb moo with sticky rice
  • Top travel spots (so far): Thailand and Croatia
  • First concert: In Flames at the Trocadero Theatre
  • Last show binged: Beef
  • Go-to podcast: Huberman Lab – exploring science tools for everyday life

On creativity:
“My mom used to joke she’d change my middle name to ‘Why?’ That endless curiosity stuck with me. I’ve always been drawn to creative problem-solving and first-principles thinking.”

On success:
“Success is hitting the goals you’ve intentionally set. If you’re not measuring it, it’s just a wish.”

On DEI:
“To me, DEI is about creating a culture where different perspectives are not just welcomed – they’re expected. That diversity of thought is powerful.”

On parenthood:
A day off usually means chasing after a one-year-old and doing damage control to minimize the bumps and bruises!

Favorite project at eMoney:
“The Learning 2.0 initiative – which involved evolving coaching into the formalized Getting Started Program. It was rewarding to streamline the process and improve the experience for both coaches and users.”

Who inspires you?
Mark Wiens, Joe Rogan, and John Danaher – three very different people, but all successful in their own right by pursuing what they love.

Recent learning:
“I came across the concept of the ‘self of the therapist.’ Many advisors act as emotional support for their clients, so understanding this dynamic helps me better support our users. Shoutout to Sasha Grabenstetter from Financial Planning for the insight!”

Why eMoney?
“I truly believe everyone can benefit from a financial plan. Helping make that accessible feels like a meaningful mission.”
