Every year, we are required to complete and submit a report of our workforce’s ethnicity, race, gender, and job category to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). While this is required for all private employers with 100 employees or more, we also view this as an opportunity to identify and address potential instances of discrimination – reinforcing our commitment to fostering a more inclusive and equitable work environment. The data provided to the EEOC is used to investigate charges of employment discrimination against employers in private industry and to publish periodic reports on workforce demographics.
This year’s report is due on Dec. 5, and we wanted to remind you of this requirement in hopes of updating the accuracy our records and your ability to self-identify in ADP, should you choose to do so.
Note: Self-identifying is voluntary; however, if you decide not to self-identify, eMoney must use visual observation/records for purposes of the EEOC reporting. It’s also important to note that when reported, this data does not include name, address, or any personal information.
Self-identification can be updated in ADP at any time. Instructions for doing so are below.
