Sales Organization Update

Leadership Team July 6, 2023 Elizabeth Mazanek

A message from CEO Susan McKenna on July 5, 2023:

Hope you all were able to enjoy a relaxing Fourth of July weekend with family and friends. As we embark on the second half of 2023, I’m proud to share that we have continued to put up strong results in the first half of 2023, and I’m extremely grateful for each of your efforts as we look to close out the second half of the year just as strong.

As we head into Q3, I am energized by the work that is being done across the organization to continue to ensure eMoney is the leading financial planning technology solution in the market and that our business is healthy and growing amid many changes taking place in the market.

We know that change is a constant in our industry and a force that continues to propel us forward as we flex and adapt to grow the business. With that said, it is with mixed emotions that I share the news that Morgan Jones, SVP of Sales, has made the decision to retire from eMoney. While I am personally sad to see Morgan move on, I am grateful for his many contributions to the Sales team and to eMoney.

The impact Morgan has made on the organization in his 4+ years at eMoney is significant. Throughout his tenure, Morgan has led the SDR team, the Advisor Sales team, and the Enterprise Sales team through some of our strongest years on record. He has served on our Core Leadership Team leading the sales strategy and revenue generation activities for the company.

His positive spirit, sense of humor, and penchant for great storytelling will certainly be missed as he embarks on this next chapter, but I hope you will join me in wishing him well in his retirement and congratulating him on a tremendously successful career.

Morgan’s last day will be Monday, July 31. We have opened up a search for the Head of Sales role and expect it will likely take a few months to fill. In the interim, Caroline Grasso, Director of Advisor Sales, and Rich Grotto, VP of Enterprise Sales, will report directly to me. Jim Chehanske, VP of Sales Development, will report into Rachel Eccles, and Tom Steinberger, VP of Sales Operations, will report into Megan Murray.

In the meantime, please join me in thanking Morgan for his many contributions to eMoney and congratulating him on this well-earned milestone.
