Q1 & Q2 2023 Professional Development Trainings

As part of our continued efforts to provide diverse learning and development offerings in 2023, we’re excited to announce and invite you to register for the Q1 & Q2 2023 virtual trainings. These trainings will help you continue to learn, develop, and grow both personally and professionally. These are also great opportunities for you to improve your competencies – which are evaluated as part of your performance assessment at the end of every year. Course descriptions, dates, and times are below for reference.

Please note the following:

  • All courses will be offered virtually.
  • Each training will be capped at 30 participants. So, don’t wait; register today!
  • For those in Client Support, please submit your request (provide multiple options when possible) directly to wfm@emoneyadvisor.com. The workforce team will reply back to let you know the status. Please hold off on registering until you hear back from the WFM team.

Communicating with Impact (Feb. 9: 1 – 4:30 p.m. ET)

Competencies this course will help with: Communicates Effectively, Self-Development, and Demonstrates Self Awareness.

This course shows you how to package their ideas in a way that will win over even the most skeptical individuals. Participants learn strategies for:

  • Effectively capturing people’s attention
  • Transforming their perspectives
  • Gaining their commitment to taking action

High Impact Feedback & Listening (Feb. 21: 1 – 4:30 p.m. ET)

Competencies this course will help with: Communicates Effectively, Ensures Accountability, Self-Development, and Decision Quality.

In this course, individual performers learn:

  • How to effectively deliver both positive and developmental feedback
  • How to be receptive to feedback and to listen to accurately understand the speaker’s intended message.

In the workplace, these skills help them to optimize and sustain their own and their coworkers’ performance.


Leading Meetings (March 9: 1 – 2 p.m. ET)

Competencies this course will help with: Communicates Effectively, Ensures Accountability, Self-Development, and Decision Quality.

In this course, participants will embark on an activity-filled exploration of techniques and learn how to:

  • Eliminate bad meetings (voted the #1 “time-killer” in organizations!)
  • Make meetings more productive and inclusive

  • Create impactful agendas
  • Encourage participation

Strategies for Influencing Others (May 4: 1 – 4:30 p.m. ET)

Competencies this course will help with: Communicates Effectively, Decision Quality, Demonstrates Self-Awareness, and Values Differences.

Participants of this course will learn:

  • How to package their ideas in a way that will win over even the most skeptical individuals.
  • Strategies for effectively capturing people’s attention, transforming their perspectives, and gaining their commitment to taking action.

Leading Self: Turn Awareness into Impact (June 1: 1 – 4:30 p.m. ET)

Competencies this course will help with: Self-Development and Demonstrates Self Awareness.

People who develop internal self-awareness have a positive impact on their careers, their teams, and their organizations. In this course, learners will:

  • Gain insight about their personal values, their emotions and how they manage them, and the natural talents they bring to the workplace.

Through self-insight tools, engaging activities, and compelling video, learners expand their understanding of themselves so they can heighten their impact at work.
