Workplace Giving Spotlight: Jordan Schweiger

Workplace Giving Spotlight September 24, 2021 Grayce Turnbach

Featured organization: Holton’s Heroes

Holton’s Heroes is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children who have suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI), along with their families and caregivers. From medical equipment and home modifications to family outings and care packages, Holton’s Heroes steps in to help families navigate life after TBI – one small act of support at a time.

Heroes are nominated or discovered through social media, and the Holton’s Heroes team jumps into action – providing resources like wheelchairs, therapy equipment, home accessibility upgrades, or even a night out for overwhelmed parents. Their work is powered entirely by donations and annual events held in California and the Philadelphia area.

“Our son Chase had a massive stroke at 7 years old. He couldn’t walk, talk, or hold his head up. After months of brain surgery, rehab, and recovery, Chase is thriving! We’re so grateful for his progress, but we know not every family gets a happy ending. That’s why we support Holton’s Heroes. They help other families on this journey feel seen, supported, and hopeful.”
