Employee Spotlight June 21, 2021 Grayce Turnbach

How do you take your coffee? With a splash of heavy cream

Any hidden talents? So well hidden I have not found them yet.

What’s your favorite quote? You know I’m a dreamer, but my heart’s of gold

What’s your favorite emoji? 😂 despite what TikTok will have people believe this one is still cool!

Favorite meal? Sushi . Ay time, any day. Always.

What’s your favorite place to travel? My favorite trip was to England two years ago and I can’t wait for this pandemic to be a thing of the past so I can get back to exploring the world.

Dogs or cats? Dogs

What was the best piece advice you ever received? Fake it till you make it. – not really sure where I heard that one along the way but always say yes and figure it out after 😊

What does a day off look like for you? If I’m not working and the kids are at school you can definitely find me at Costco.

Have you bought anything on the eMpower shop with your points or are you saving for a big purchase? I never hold on to them long enough, always cash out for Amazon or Target gift cards.

Last show you binged or movie you watched? Late to the party but currently binging on Schitt’s Creek.

Favorite book or podcast? I don’t read nearly as much as I used to when I was younger, when I do have a chance to pick up a book it’s usually historic fiction.

What were you doing 20 years ago? Finishing up high school. CR class of 2001!

What is one thing from the year 2000/early 2000s you’re ashamed to admit you love? The eyebrows. I have thin eyebrows and miss being the trend.

What’s your favorite song from the year 2000/early 2000s (the year eMoney was founded)? Destiny’s Child – Say My Name.  The song and video still take me back every single time.  Annoy my kids with it in the car every time.

Describe eMoney in three words. Fast, Autonomous, Successful

What is your favorite thing about eMoney? The people. Especially having been remote more than I was in the office. Being able to work well with such awesome people virtually has made 2020 and beyond so easy.

What is your favorite project that you’ve worked on while with eMoney? In general, I love being able to help bring talent in the door and then turn around and start working with them in a new capacity as they become hiring managers for me to support. It’s like a full circle and helps build stronger relationships.

What’s your best memory at eMoney? When we had the Radnor picnic and we got to meet puppies that were looking for forever homes.  It was right after I started and I got to be with my teammates outside of “work” for the first time and of course, we got to pet puppies.

If you could switch your job with anyone else within eMoney, whose job would you want and why? Ed. I’d love a quick glimpse into everything he’s exposed to on a daily basis but then switch right back very quickly because…stress.
