One Year Later

A message from CLT:

As you know, this week marks the one-year anniversary since we transitioned to remote work due to the COVID-19 pandemic. What started as a two-week work-from-home period has become a year that we will never forget. Even though the past 12 months were unpredictable, each of you have continued to demonstrate your resilience and dedication to eMoney. And despite the challenges, we were able to accomplish so much together. So, as we begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel, we wanted to share a fun video that highlights what helped a lot of us get through a global pandemic – food, family and The Queen’s Gambit.

We also heard from you about how you have managed the past year in quarantine. Some highlights include:

• 43% say spending more time with family and friends has been the most positive experience.
• 28% welcomed a new family member (baby and/or pet)!
• 35% relocated to a new home or made home improvements
• Many of you got creative in the kitchen while also supporting your local small businesses for takeout.
• 29% started a new hobby.
• Many people spent more time than ever before outdoors hiking, swimming, camping and enjoying a nice glass of wine.
• The daily walk is a staple in your routines – 25% have incorporated this into their at-home workouts.
• We’ll spare you the total number of hours we have all spent watching TV, but some favorites are The Queen’s Gambit, Schitt’s Creek and Ted Lasso.
• 54% say what they miss the most about the office is small talk with coworkers.
