Charitable Giving & Employer Match

Accessing Workplace Giving | Donating on Workplace Giving

Workplace Giving is our charitable giving platform for benefits-eligible employees. It allows for you to easily search for charities (sorted by cause, industry, location, and Employer Identification Numbers) and donate in one centralized place. eMoney matches eligible donations made through the platform up to $200 per employee per year.

  • Benefits-eligible employees: Donate using Workplace Giving to receive the employer match automatically.
  • Non-benefits-eligible employees: You can still support the causes that matter to you by donating directly to the charity of your choice.
  • Log in to Workplace Giving
    • Note: You’ll access Workplace Giving through the Fidelity NetBenefits website – which is the online portal where you manage your eMoney retirement benefits as well as charitable giving.
  • Search for your organization via four ways:
    1. Use the search bar on the top of the homepage
      • You can search by keyword, charity name, or the EIN number – using the EIN number is the easiest way to find an organization.

Volunteer Time Off (VTO)

This language is from the Employee Handbook located on the Serivce Portal’s Policy Library.

eMoney is committed to giving back to the communities where employees live and work. Our volunteer initiatives are an integral part of our company culture, and we realize that our employees are the driving force behind charitable efforts, which is why we offer time off to volunteer.

Overview | Examples of VTO Usage | Requesting VTO

  • All full-time and part-time employees are eligible to spend 16 hours each calendar year giving back to their local communities.
  • VTO can be used in 4 or 8-hour increments.
  • This initiative is voluntary and regardless of an employee’s role or tenure, all are welcome to participate.
  • Interested employees should meet with their managers in advance of requesting VTO, to discuss where they wish to volunteer, receive approval and schedule VTO.
  • Participating employees are not required to take Paid Time Off, instead this effort will be captured as VTO, company-sponsored paid time off in ADP.
  • VTO should not conflict with the peak work schedule and other work-related responsibilities, create need for overtime or cause conflicts with other employees’ schedules.
  • While you are using your VTO, please keep in mind that you should still be following eMoney’s non-discrimination and non-harassment guidelines.
  • If there is a question about whether a volunteer opportunity is appropriate to use your VTO for, please reach out to PX at PX@emoneyadvisor.com before submitting your request.

Examples of Acceptable and Unacceptable Uses of VTO

  • Volunteering at a foodbank, shelter, etc.
  • Serving on a non-profit board
  • Cleaning up public spaces
  • Volunteering at hospitals
  • Coaching your child’s sports team or serving as a scout leader
  • Judging a beauty pageant or other competition
  • Taking a vacation
  • Attending a professional or personal interest event or conference

To request VTO, log in to ADP > Request Time Off > Select VTO as the Time Off Policy

  • Remember, VTO can be used in 4 or 8-hour increments.
