Technology Team Update

Technology March 1, 2024 Grayce Turnbach

Email from Nick DiLisi to Product and Technology on February 28, 2024.

I have some exciting news to share about some upcoming key changes to the Technology organization, which go into effect on March 16, 2024. Please share this with your teams as necessary.

Scott Woodman, Director of Portfolio Management, and the Portfolio Management team will join the Technology organization, reporting to Melissa Sumner, our SVP of Development and Enterprise Architecture. This will help enable us to spot and act on opportunities faster, which will help streamline our software delivery process.

Additionally, please join me in congratulating Simon Welch for his promotion to VP of Development. He’ll report to Melissa Sumner and manage the development organization; all development directors and their teams will be reporting to him.

As we embrace the importance of strategic technical leadership, we’ve created a new role, Distinguished Architect. Those in this role will partner with product, technical specialists, development management, quality assurance, and customer-facing roles to drive a strong technical roadmap and leverage technology to enhance our offerings. Congratulations to PK Shiu and Josh Eisen, who have been promoted to this new role! PK will be dedicated to the Client Experience and Client Statement of Work (SOW) ARTs, while Josh will be focusing on Aggregation and Platform ARTs. PK and Josh will also report to Melissa Sumner.

Surabhi Vibhuti, Director, Development, is taking the reins of the Financial Planning ART, while also continuing to manage the dedicated LBS team. With this change, we will be posting a job opening on Jobvite – internally – for a new Director of Development to oversee the Client Experience ART and Client Statement of Work (SOW) ART.

Stephanie Zielenski will continue to lead our architecture function and work closely with PK and Josh on strategic architecture for the Financial Planning ART. Her team, including Benny Belanger, Jay Canha, Fred Jabbari, Steve Goldman, Danny Eck, Amar Sidhu, and a new advisory architect position – which has been posted internally on Jobvite – will continue to provide crucial architectural guidance for the organization, and Stephanie will continue to report to Melissa Sumner.

We’re confident these changes will set us up for future success and help us deliver even more value to our customers. Thanks for your unwavering dedication and commitment to our mission.
