Being promoted to senior software engineer within just one year of joining the company has been an incredible journey filled with learning and growth. When I started with the company, I was eager to make a positive impact and demonstrate my commitment to quality. During my short time at eMoney, I faced new challenges and was able to expand my skill set and improve my technical knowledge.
One of the critical aspects of my growth was the opportunity to work on the Okta project which allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of different technologies and methodologies. I actively sought out additional responsibilities which enhanced my communication and collaboration skills. Receiving the promotion after such a short time not only filled me with a sense of pride but also reinforced my belief in the company’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding hard work. I am grateful to work for a company that values employee growth and provides opportunities for career advancement.

I’m always looking for new challenges & responsibilities to progress myself, and moving into this new role allows me the opportunity to do so with the support I’ve received from my leadership. It can often be a challenge starting the discussion about your career path but it was ultimately a worthwhile discussion for me. It helped me identify the best way forward and the steps I needed to take to reach my goal. The path of growth feels unlimited here.
Since day one with eMoney, in March of 2021, the company has invested in my best interests and continued growth. With a warm welcome into the company made up of such wonderful people, I thought it was almost too good to be true, but over the last two years, it has proved to be better than I could have imagined.
Not only have my managers all invested in me, but for the first time, I felt like all levels of the company truly want each of us to succeed. Starting as an Associate Client Support Specialist, my manager began forecasting a growth plan to get to the next level, and followed through with that by offering me the opportunity to go to the next level as soon as I possibly could, accepting a promotion to Mid-Level Client Support Specialist on the very first day I became eligible! And then the growth plan cycle began again, just to more than impress me again, as I was promoted to a Senior Client Support Specialist, shortly after becoming eligible. As I reflect on the progress, I have made with this wonderful company in such a short period of time, I can only imagine what the future holds! Our team makes it possible to grow, by following the guidance of our great leaders and mentors. eMoney truly cares about each and every one of us, so I am very excited to continue to try to grow and get to the next level, with so many great opportunities available ahead!
