Cisco SSO Enablement: Friday, Dec. 9

Technology December 9, 2022 Elizabeth Mazanek

CorpOps will be enabling Cisco single sign-on (SSO) beginning Friday, Dec. 9 at 9 p.m. ET. This will allow users to have access to multiple Cisco collaboration applications without requiring separate authentications for each one. Once enabled, you will be able to do the following:

  • Log in to the supported applications with your eMoney username and password.
  • If you are accessing Cisco through a browser, use the same eMoney username and password to log in.
  • If you are currently logged in to another application in the same browser, you will still be able to access Cisco without providing a username and password.

SSO enablement will result in several advantages for users, including:

  • Improves productivity because you do not need to re-enter your credentials on different products.
  • Reduces password fatigue by removing the need for entering different username and password combinations.
  • Provides encryption to protect authentication information passed between Okta & any SSO enabled Cisco application (Jabber, Finesse, CUIC & Voicemail) and the end-user.

If you have additional questions, please contact CorpOps using the IT Operations – Public > CorpOps channel on Teams.
