As Financial Literacy Month comes to an end, we thought we’d end on a high note and spotlight one of our own: Kristina Gudelis – Manager, Advisor Sales.
Prompted by the rising financial concerns the pandemic brought about during the March-April 2020 timeframe including stock sell-offs and job uncertainties, Kristina started to educate herself on the foundations of financial planning through coursework (beginnings of the Certificate of Financial Planning with Boston University), internships (the FPA 8 week externship in summer 2020 as well as part-time remote interning with a Financial Advisor as part of the BLX Internship program), and blogging about Financial Literacy concepts. Her goal was to educate herself while empowering others to take control of their financial future as it was obvious many of us do not know the first thing about money. No surprise either as we are not taught this in school! 4/5 Americans are said to be unable to pass a financial literacy test.

In an effort to hold herself accountable for her learnings as well as help others, Kristina launched an Instagram account in April 2020, (@financialyou_) to provide fun yet educational information which shared resources around the basics of financial education from budgeting, saving, investing, tax planning, retirement planning, money mindset and more.
Two years later, she now considers herself a financial influencer, with a community of almost 5,000 on social media, as well as a website www.financial-you.com which hosts a Calendly to be set up with a complimentary financial coaching call with Kristina where you’ll discuss accomplishing your top financial milestone. With a decade of professional experience in coaching individuals to success, she prides herself on holding her clients accountable to their goals.
Originally with the intent of career-changing entirely into financial planning, after her two-year journey, Kristina determined marrying her two passions of sales management and financial planning together made the most sense and she’s thrilled to be with eMoney today.
