Your free Headspace membership comes with a lot, and we want to make sure you know how to use it!
In a recent webinar, Headspace walked employees through the mental health and well-being benefits available through eMoney’s free Headspace membership – including support for employees and eligible dependents.
Employees have access to:
- Unlimited self-guided content: Includes meditations, mindfulness exercises, sleep support, focus tools, movement sessions, mindful eating content, family/kids content, podcasts, and more.
- Ebb, Headspace’s AI companion: This can help you process thoughts, explore emotions, find relevant content, or get support with everyday challenges like stress, burnout, confidence, relationships, or preparing for a big meeting.
- Unlimited 24/7 text-based mental health coaching: This comes at no cost. Coaches can help with stress, self-care, sleep, anxiety, habits, resilience, life transitions, goal setting, and more. You can schedule time or connect on demand – typically in two minutes or less.
- Covered clinical care: This includes up to eight therapy or psychiatry sessions per employee or dependent per year at no cost. Therapy is available via video and can support needs like anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, and more.
- Access for dependents and household members: You can invite up to five loved ones ages 13+.
The session also covered real-life examples of how someone might use Headspace, including:
- Using a sleepcast during a restless night
- Working with a coach on impostor syndrome or stress
- Stepping up to therapy when more support is needed
A few helpful notes:
- If you don’t have an account, you can sign up for one here.
- Headspace is confidential. eMoney, managers, PX, and teams do not receive information about whether you use the app, connect with a coach, or access therapy/psychiatry.
- Start enrollment using the eMoney Headspace link before downloading the app to avoid being prompted for a payment method.
- Family members can be invited through your browser settings, not directly in the app.
- The movement content can be found under Explore, by searching terms like “movement,” “yoga,” or “walking,” or by asking Ebb for recommendations.
With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, this is a great time to explore what’s available – check out the May self-guided content calendar below.
