NEW Plan Comparison (Evolution of Goal Planner)

This release represents a complete overhaul of eMoney’s “Goal Planner”, enabling quicker and more efficient analysis and work by users compared with its predecessor. It is built on modern tech and in eMoney’s modern “Simple Premium” aesthetic. This release also makes this experience accessible directly from within Decision Center, continuing our strategy towards consolidation of key functionality into DC thereby reducing workflow breakages. Upon release, the legacy version of Goal Planner will remain accessible to users, beyond a toggle, until EOY 2026 to allow users to get acclimated at their own pace.  Read more

Decision Center’s “Insights” Terminology Change

In advance of the CoPlanner release in March, we are changing the terminology associated with our current single-variable solvers, referring to them instead simply as “solvers” rather than “Insights”. The intention is to be more explicit re: the “mode” setting users will eventually see in March: CoPlanner vs Solvers.

CoPlanner: Transparency into Techniques Considered

Releasing for beta users: CoPlanner users will now be able to see what CoPlanner considered / assessed but did not surface in its output. This helps provide transparency and build trust with users about the breadth of planning actions CoPlanner is equipped to handle. The implication is if CoPlanner assessed but did not return a specific action, it was generally determined to not improve the client’s plan. This enhancement will also surface (in a clearly labeled way) when a technique was not considered, for example, because the user had its setting turned off.

Asset Allocation Report in Decision Center

As part of our work to migrate our reports library into Decision Center, the very popular Asset Allocation report will now be accessible to users inside Decision Center. This eliminates the need for users to hop between Decision Center and Reports tab, saving users time and enabling more fluid presentation by users with clients. This Asset Allocation view includes high level, detailed, composite, and comparison views. Read more

Needs Analysis: Disability Ins. Module & Handling for Life Ins. Gap Analysis for Single Clients

These enhancements + already-released modules account for > 80% of classic NA module usage. When classic Needs Analysis is sunset, any previously-generated analyses will be sunset as well, so users will be encouraged to preserve any previously-run analyses of their choosing. We began communicating to users Q4 2025 our intent to sunset classic NA in Q4 of 2026. This gives users ~1 year / multiple partner review cycles advanced notice.

NEW Plan Comparison (Evolution of Goal Planner)

While the new Plan Comparison is releasing in January, subsequent releases will introduce a plan changes summary section (for easy understanding of what changes exist across each plan), a metrics summary section (containing all “metrics” available to users from DC), and report flexibility (at the top of each column). Upon release, users will be able to toggle between the classic and new versions until the eventual sunset of the classic version EOY 2026. Marketing provided coming soon messaging to users in December 2025 with advanced notice for the December 2026 sunset of the classic version. This gives users ~1 year / multiple partner review cycles advanced notice of the eventual sunset. Learn more about the eventual sunset

CoPlanner (formerly known internally as “autonomous planning”)

CoPlanner has been live in beta since March 2025 and will release more broadly on March 25th 2026. This feature, with the click of a button, analyzes the client in context and produces a series of system-generated techniques (aka a system-generated plan), dramatically reducing time-to-plan which helps enables scale. Anyone internally interested in getting their hands on this feature can already do so in the ema/demo/emoney demo office. Please reach out to Josh Belfiore, John Costello, Joe Pearson for any one-off team-specific trainings/Q&A sessions!

NEW Enhanced Foundational Planning Experience

We’re rebuilding Foundational Planning to be a far more streamlined and intelligent planning experience (thanks to CoPlanner being embedded in FP just as it is in DC), where simple data entry results in (1) the system intelligently curating the user’s workflow, and (2) CoPlanner’s ability to produce a series of system-generated techniques (aka a system-generated plan). Upon release in March/April 2026, users will be able to toggle between the new and classic versions until the classic version is sunset in December 2026. This will give users 1 year / multiple partner review cycles heads up. Learn more about the eventual sunset
