Tyson’s Storehouse Education Center (TSEC), Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty in metro Atlanta and surrounding counties through their 3E approach: Educate, Equip, and Empower.

Founded by Natasha Tyson, TSEC was built on a mission to create a welcoming, supportive space—especially for individuals with criminal backgrounds—offering them access to opportunity, education, and dignity.

TSEC’s three key program “hubs” address some of the most pressing barriers to economic stability:

• Academic Hub – Provides adult education and job readiness training to improve literacy and open doors to employment.
• Health Hub – Offers health literacy education, advocacy, and access to a registered nurse to help reduce disparities in underserved communities.
• 2nd Chance Hub – Focuses on supporting formerly incarcerated individuals with education, career pathways, and mental health support to reduce recidivism.

In addition to these core programs, TSEC is widely recognized for its annual back-to-school drives and year-round student support initiatives across the region.
