I’m a Sr. Digital Designer on the Creative team within Marketing.
Favorite quote?
“Whatever I am, let it be enough.” – from one of my favorite book series by author V.E. Schwab. I even have it tattooed on my shoulder.
What is your favorite meal or type of food to eat?
I love a good soft pretzel.
Favorite place to travel?
Surprising probably no one that knows me – London.
What was the best piece of advice you ever received?
One of my design professors in college always said, “If you’re going to do something, do it with purpose.” He meant it in terms of art and design decisions, but I think it applies to life in general, too.
What does a day off look like to you?
I tend to stockpile my PTO for big trips, but on an average weekend, I’m usually doing crafts or visiting my favorite art market in Providence.
Last show you binged or movie you watched?
The Last of Us. I’ve also been rewatching The Hunger Games films.
Favorite book or podcast?
Anything by V.E. Schwab – especially The Darker Shades of Magic series. For podcasts, my go-to is And That’s Why We Drink, which blends paranormal stories with true crime.
First concert?
Idina Menzel.
Hidden talents?
I play piano – I took lessons from third grade through my senior year of high school. Also, air hockey.
How do you define success?
The freedom to do what you love.
Who inspires you?
Probably the fictional character Elphaba from Wicked. I even named one of my cats after her! She stands firmly in what she believes, even when misunderstood or rejected by the world. To me, she represents the strength of staying true to yourself. Being different isn’t a weakness – it’s a source of power.
Favorite project you’ve worked on at eMoney?
I’ve really enjoyed working on the Candid Conversations eBook series. It’s a more creative approach to our content and has performed well. I also love creating the branding each year for Summit – it’s one of the most fun and inspiring projects I get to work on.
What does DEI mean to you in the workplace?
DEI is incredibly important – it drives both innovation and creativity. I’ve had so many meaningful conversations with people from different backgrounds, both while traveling and at work. As someone who grew up in a rural area without much exposure to diversity, I deeply value working in a place where different perspectives are embraced. It makes the workplace – and the work – better.
Why are you proud to work at eMoney?
I’ve been with eMoney for over 6 years now – the longest I’ve ever stayed at a company! I really love my team and how they encourage me to think outside the box and try new ideas.
What core value resonates with you the most and why?
Collaboration. I believe it ties together so many of our core values. When people with different experiences come together, it challenges assumptions and sparks innovation. That’s where creativity really thrives.
What’s one new thing you’ve learned recently?
I discovered a new AI tool called Claude and saw how it can be used to code and design websites – super interesting!
