Making Your Pingboard Profile More…You

Employee Engagement Committee January 24, 2026 Grayce Turnbach

In a remote (but still very collaborative) world, it’s not always easy to get to know the people behind the screen. That’s where Pingboard comes in.

Think of it as more than just a directory—it’s your space to share a little more about who you are, what you’re great at, and what you enjoy outside of work.

When you take a few minutes to fill out your profile—your bio, skills, and interests—you’re making it easier for others to connect, collaborate, and get to know the real you.

A strong profile can help you:

  • Put a story behind your name (not just a job title)
  • Spark connections with people you might not work with every day
  • Make collaboration easier by highlighting what you’re great at
  • Increase your visibility across teams and projects
  • Build a stronger, more connected culture

You never know—your love of hiking, reality TV, or cooking might be the thing that starts your next great conversation!

Keep it simple:

  • Bio: A quick snapshot of your role, background, and what you do
  • Skills: What you’re great at (from technical expertise to people skills)
    • Examples: Programming languages, software efficiency, data analysis, communication, leadership, project management, etc.
  • Interests: What you enjoy outside of work—hobbies, passions, or fun facts
    • Fitness: Biking, yoga, running, weight lifting
    • Hobbies: Cooking, crafting, knitting
    • Outdoors: Beach, camping, hiking, gardening, kayaking, skiing
    • Animals: Cats, dogs, reptiles
    • Sports: Basketball, football, baseball, volleyball
    • Arts & Culture: Art, foodie, music, photography
    • Entertainment: Concerts, gaming, movies, reading, reality TV

It only takes a few minutes!

  1. Log into Pingboard through Okta
  2. Head to your profile
    • Click the “Edit your profile” button in the “For You” section under the search bar
  3. Add or update your bio, skills, and interests

If you’re looking for inspiration, check out a few profiles (below). You might discover something new (or someone new) along the way!
