Ron DePoalo

Ron DePoalo

Head of Fund and Brokerage Operations and Technology at Fidelity

Ron DePoalo is head of Fund and Brokerage Operations & Technology (FBOT) which oversees brokerage operations including technology, institutional and investment operations, and administration. FBOT is a division of Fidelity Investments, a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services to more than 26 million individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries.

Mr. DePoalo has responsibility for the brokerage platform that serves Fidelity’s institutional and retail businesses, as well as all brokerage operations and services. He also oversees Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO), which provides accounting and investment management support services to Fidelity businesses and mutual fund shareholders. He is a member of the Fidelity Operating Committee.

Previously, Mr. DePoalo was chief information officer for Fidelity Brokerage Technology (FBT), a division of FBOT, and was responsible for the global focus and leadership of internal and institutional client-facing technology management and development.

Prior to joining Fidelity in 2008, Mr. DePoalo held various global leadership roles within Merrill Lynch during his more than 20-year tenure. Most recently, he was managing director and chief technology officer for Global Wealth Management. Prior to that, Mr. DePoalo was managing director for Global Markets and Investment Banking Operations Technology. He also was first vice president and chief technology officer for Global Transaction and Custody Services and led Global Financing Technology.

Mr. DePoalo received his B.S. degree in management information systems from Ramapo College of New Jersey and an MBA from Saint Peter’s College, New Jersey. He holds his FINRA Principal Series 99, 24 and 7 licenses and has served on the FINRA Technology Advisory Committee and the SIFMA Operations and Technology Committee.

Jason Hamilton

Jason Hamilton

Head of Human Resources, Enterprise Services and Devonshire Investors at Fidelity Investments

Jason Hamilton is Fidelity’s head of human resources for Enterprise Services, which includes Devonshire Investors. In this role, Jason is responsible for providing HR oversight and governance leadership across Enterprise Services and the Devonshire Investors private equity portfolio. Enterprise Services is focused on developing new sources of business revenue, accelerating the growth of existing Fidelity businesses and exploring emerging trends and technologies to enhance the firm’s operations capability and improve customers’ financial future. Devonshire’s portfolio consists of investments in operating companies, private equity, natural resources, real estate and indirect investing.

Prior to assuming his current position in 2022, Mr. Hamilton was head of Asset Management human resources working with each division’s management team to attract, develop, and retain market-leading investment talent.
Previously, Mr. Hamilton served as head of human resources for Fidelity’s equity, fixed income, and high yield divisions, vice president of Asset Management human resources and as vice president of corporate services and shared services human resources. Mr. Hamilton also held various roles within Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company, Inc., Fidelity Financial Advisor Solutions, Enterprise Technology, Fidelity Employer Services Company, and Workplace Investing.

Mr. Hamilton earned his bachelor of arts degree in French from Miami University and his master of business administration degree from Duke University.

Vadim Zlotnikov

Vadim Zlotnikov

Head of Fidelity Institutional, Chairman of the Board

Vadim Zlotnikov is head of Fidelity Institutional®, a division of Fidelity Investments that offers investment insights, strategies, and solutions, as well as trading services to a wide range of wealth management firms and institutional investors. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals.

In his current role, Mr. Zlotnikov draws on his three decades of investing experience to offer Fidelity’s institutional and intermediary clients the investment solutions and trading capabilities they need to serve their end investors. Amid a rapidly evolving wealth management and institutional market, his organization offers a full suite of open architecture institutional investing solutions, institutional trading and lending capabilities, and insights.
Previously, Mr. Zlotnikov served as president of Fidelity Asset Management Solutions, where he led the institutional asset management, sales, relationship management, client servicing, and institutional portfolio management teams. His asset management responsibilities included oversight of the Global Institutional Solutions (GIS), Fidelity Diversifying Solutions (FDS), and Global Asset Allocation (GAA) investment divisions.

Prior to joining Fidelity in May 2018, Mr. Zlotnikov spent 25 years at AllianceBernstein. As chief market strategist from 2010 until 2018, he provided macro and quantitative research that helped identify thematic investment opportunities. During that period, he was also a co-head of multi-asset solutions, where he managed the development and implementation of integrated investment portfolios for the retirement, institutional, and retail markets. He was also a CIO of systematic and index strategies, which includes a variety of return-seeking and risk mitigating products. Prior to 2010, Mr. Zlotnikov held a variety of positions at AllianceBernstein, including CIO of growth equities, chief investment strategist, technology strategist, and analyst.

Mr. Zlotnikov started his career as an engineer at AT&T Bell Laboratories and spent six years as a management consultant at Booz Allen. He has been in the financial industry since 1993.
Mr. Zlotnikov received his bachelor of science and master of science degrees in electrical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Matt Borden

Matt Borden

SVP and Head of Finance for Enterprise Services at Fidelity Investments

Matt Borden is Fidelity’s Senior Vice President and Head of Finance for Enterprise Services. In Matt’s current role, he is a member of the Enterprise Services’ Senior Team focused on developing new sources of business revenue, accelerating the growth of existing Fidelity businesses and exploring emerging trends and technologies to enhance the firm’s operations capability and improve customers’ financial future.

Matt began his Fidelity career in 1999 and in his 20 years at the company has worked across all major business units in a variety of business and financial roles.  In the last several years Matt led the development of Fidelity’s Planning and Advice offering for Fidelity’s Retail and Workplace customers.  In this role Matt oversaw a group that worked closely with eMoney teams to integrate eMoney into the digital planning tools utilized as part of Fidelity’s Wealth Management offering.  As an extension of that role, Matt also acted as the Head of Life Event Planning, where his team worked across Fidelity to develop an experience to assist customers to Anticipate, Plan for and React to the major moments that matter in their lives.

Prior to Fidelity, Matt was a Certified Public Accountant at Ernst & Young where he led client engagements across a variety of industries.  Matt has a BBA from The Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jennifer Uhrig

Jennifer Uhrig

Senior Advisor for Fidelity Management and Research

Jennifer Uhrig is a Senior Advisor for Fidelity Management & Research Company, where she has worked since 1987. In this role, she serves on the Board of Directors of COLT Technology Services, where she chairs the Audit Committee, on the Board of Directors of Geode Capital Management, and on the Board of Directors of eMoney Advisor. Previously, Ms. Uhrig worked in various roles at Fidelity as an equity analyst and fund manager in the Fidelity Growth Group. In her diversified portfolio manager assignments, Ms. Uhrig managed start-up products as well as assets of up to $38 billion and consistently outperformed the benchmark on all of her funds. She joined Fidelity as a research analyst covering the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Fidelity, Ms. Uhrig was a research associate for Fred Alger Management from 1983 to 1985. She has 35 years of investment industry experience.

Ms. Uhrig is also a member of the Board of Overseers of the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, the Boston Harvard Major Gifts Committee, the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, and the Investment Committee of Historic New England.
